I am a Certified Civil Mediator, specializing in family law and real estate disputes.

Where going through the court process may take months or years to resolve an issue, I can help you in a fraction of the time.

In my sessions, you are the judge.  I am the guide; I lead you through the process of reaching an agreement.  A mediator does not tell you what to do, or make decisions for you (unlike an arbitrator, or judge).  Due to the fact that we are not in court, your “dirty laundry” is not made public record.  The mediation is private.  There is no court recorder present.  I cannot be subpoenaed into court, nor can my notes or records.  Only the factual information that is in the family law documents that are filed will be accessible.  (Real Estate disputes do not have documents that will be filed;  deeds may be recorded.)   

Although during these sessions I am your Mediator, I am also a Legal Document Assistant, meaning that you have an in-house document preparer.  Not only does this keep your fees low, but it also means your dispute will be settled much more quickly.

The documents I prepare, including any contracts, or agreements, are legally binding.

After your sessions, document preparation, and any court filing, the process is complete.  You do not have to appear in court.  You do not have to seek out an attorney.  No one will listen to what you say, then report a “distorted” version to a judge for him to make a ruling.  Your word is final.
